Our purpose
To promote the consumption of high-end pieces with high quality materials, author's design, unique and authentic with a deep Peruvian creative-artisanal value, made to transcend time; In that sense, the production volume is reduced, on the basis that balances demand and exclusivity, in response to sustainability and slow fashion.
Since our production is artisanal, only a small percentage of machinery is used for the most complex areas in the development, mainly of our shoes. Likewise, this allows us to have detailed control of production, added to the complexity of the designs themselves, which is why we do not make high volumes of pieces, but on the contrary, we seek a balance between demand and exclusivity, in attention to sustainability and the consumption of slow fashion.
The development and finishing of each Jazmín González piece is artisanal, which allows a personalized approach, as well as the appreciation and visibility of the talent of local Peruvian artisans and encourages the growth of this field. Our entire value chain originates in Lima, Peru.
All of our pieces are made from genuine leather. During the past years, the selection of our allies in the supply of materials has been crucial, we work with companies committed to the environment, accredited with international certifications, that way, we ensure that the entire chain is safe and complies with global standards in this area.
Durability is an important pillar for Jazmín González, because for us it is synonymous with transcendence, which is why all our pieces are made of high-quality genuine leather. In addition to this, the selection of the material is also fundamental because we look for it to be the exact texture, thickness, cut and color for the design we want to create and, in turn, represent the concept of the collection we are working on.
Experimentation with different leather textures, accessories and materials is essential to create a Jazmín González piece.
Both related, we have a policy of consuming all the material, transforming it from a pair of shoes to keychains. Likewise, when waste cannot be transformed, we recycle it. Using all the material leads us to transform and create new useful and functional pieces, this contributes to the constant rotation of the inventory in order to not be left with stock of pieces, together with branding and marketing strategies.
Our packaging is reusable, its structure is compact and resistant because it is made from 100% recycled pressed cardboard, which is lined with the brand's colors. It is a chest-type box with ties, which allows you to store your shoes or wallets. one season to another; or you can transform it for other uses.
Jazmín makes three collections a year, she is not necessarily guided by climatic seasons or trends, because her inventiveness leads her to seek timelessness in each design she makes, which is more challenging. Few copies are made, at the moment, one to three copies per size or composition of textures and color in the case of accessories.
She also designs her own heels and experiments with different leather textures; Metallic leathers have a lot of presence in all her collections due to their liveliness and shine, which requires greater concentration when handling them, especially in assembly, dressing and finishing because they are delicate materials. The result is a unique piece, as well as the one who chooses it and wears it in their daily life.
Finally, the development of a collection from the identification of the concept to its delivery to our sales channels – jazmingonzalez.pe and atelier – can take up to four months.
