Dressing has a much deeper background, the reasons why we choose a pair of shoes, a bag, glasses, a skirt, are always communicating something about ourselves, our moods, our way of relating to others, our worldview, our desires to belong or differentiate ourselves; Dressing becomes a real MANIFESTATION, which sometimes even projects fictional characters and magic that we want to make of ourselves, but at other times, it shows what is real, what is most visceral about one.
We have divided this collection into two parts, the first comes with Autumn News and the second City Winter, we decided to do it that way in order to demonstrate the symbiosis between the being and the pieces that we choose to externalize it.
The protagonist receives news, which leaves her unable to decipher exactly what she feels. Throughout the entire film, she manifests different stages that communicate with the pieces that are part of this collection, the colors and designs represent her emotions.
Part 1: Autumn News
Without realizing it, she is dancing, and enters that space that she knows well, where she lets go and thinks she hears music, she feels alive, and the magic is accompanied by a tulle skirt and stars and shoes, a kind of ballerinas with colors equal to autumn, has just entered its own movie where everything is safe.
Part 2: Winter City
Now she was leaving the cafe towards a bookstore, she wanted to fill in her story with other fictitious ones, to know and travel, those mental trips that fascinated her. She arrives at the bookstore, enters, chooses a book, then another oner, leaves and sits down to read on a bench, begins to imagine, feels less cold, smiles, continues reading, it seems endless; and the day is falling into gray because it is still June, it is winter in the city
A new design is integrated to our "Dos Historias" collection, our own interpretation of the Mary Jean cut, we wanted to give the romanticism of the ballerinas, hence the wonderful, elegant and feminine silhouette and mix of colors and structure that our Starlights mary jean ballerinas have. The three types of leather layers in scales on the main part makes this Mary Jean style unique and the structure for the lateral exit of the laces is a subtle and creative detail. Tie them however you like, feel fabulous in them!
